Family,
We believe in being open with you, especially when something goes wrong. Here is the full story of a security issue we found this week, what it means for you, and what we are doing about it.
What happened
On November 2, we found malicious code hidden in some of our Learn2Earn development files. It matches a known attack pattern aimed at crypto developers, where harmful code is slipped into a project to try to steal passwords, keys, and wallets. We caught it, and we removed it the same day.
Was anyone's money at risk?
Here is what we have checked so far:
No money was taken. The presale funds are still in the presale contract, and nothing has been withdrawn.
Our live Learn2Earn site was checked and showed no harmful code. Connecting your wallet there only shares your public address. It never asks you to approve or sign anything.
No real crypto payments ran through the affected code. Crypto checkout was still on a test network, so no real money could move through it.
Our core assets are held separately, on dedicated devices and in cold storage, and were not exposed.
God's delay was grace
For months it felt like parts of the platform were moving slower than we wanted. Trading was not fully live, and crypto checkout was still on a test network. Looking back, that delay was grace. Because those pieces were not launched yet, no real money flowed through the code that was affected. What looked like a setback became protection.
What we've done
Removed the harmful code the same day
Locked down access so only trusted, approved people can make changes to our code
Started a full security review: changing passwords and keys, and moving contract ownership to a multisig wallet, which needs more than one approval before any change can be made
Our advice on the presale
Please hold off on buying in the presale until we give the full all-clear. We would rather you wait than take any risk. Timelines, including launch dates, may shift while we finish this work. We will share every update in the Discord first.
How to protect yourself
Never copy a wallet address from your transaction history. Use a saved whitelist.
Be careful what code you run and what you sign in your wallet.
If you use the same password for Learn2Earn and other sites, change it.
Watch the full update
We walked through all of this on today's live, along with a full market breakdown and gold. Watch on YouTube, read the thread on X, and join the Discord for updates.
"The simple believeth every word: but the prudent man looketh well to his going." Proverbs 14:15
Thank you for your patience and your trust. We are handling this carefully, and we will keep you informed every step of the way.
Thank You and God Bless,
JH
